Ajax legends have reacted as former Super Eagles legend George Finidi celebrate his 50th birthday on 15 March 2021.
The Port Harcourt-born who played as a right-winger during his playing days retired from the beautiful game in 2004 after a 15-year career, which included winning the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations as well as three league titles and the 1995 UEFA Champions League with Ajax.
Finidi won eight major titles during his time with the Dutch Eredivisie holders as his fellow former teammate at Ajax including former coach Louis Van Gaal, Patrick Kluivert, Edwin van dar Saar, Marc Overmars, Frank Raijkard plus Frank and Ronald De Boer among others all wishing Super Eagles legend well as he celebrates his Golden Jubilee in a video on Thursday.
Ajax took the club official took to their official Twitter handle to celebrate the birthday boy Finidi who turns 50th today.

Apart from his success in the Dutch League, Finidi also played for several years in Spain with Real Betis and Mallorca while also having a brief spell in England with Ipswich before retiring.
Finidi was part of the “Nigerian golden generation”, alongside Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Sunday Oliseh Rashedi Yekini and Daniel Amokachi as he earned over 60 caps for three-time Africa Champions at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups.
