Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has won the Leicester City Goal of the Season award for the 2020-21 campaign.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international has been in scintillating form for Brenda Rogers side after he found back of the nineteen occasions so far this season, which is his personal best for goals in a single season since turning professional.
Leicester City made the announcement via the club official social media handle on Friday evening after the FA Cup Champions unveiled the top award winner for the season.
Ihenacho stunning effort in the 80th minute against the Eagles was voted the most eye-catching goal scored by a Leicester City player in 2020-2021.
Three of the twelve goals netted by Iheanacho in the Premier League were shortlisted for the Goal of the Season accolade – his strikes against Burnley, Sheffield United (third goal) and Crystal Palace.
