Ogun State brand and its homeowners’ charter

I wrote some time ago about some states’ logo creation and new Corporate Identity unveiling as some states adopted new symbols to depict what the states’ brands stand for. While the branding campaigns are visible, the provision of tangible offerings is non-existent.

What I have observed with the Ogun State brand is that it brand exemplifies the values of dynamism and vibrancy to facilitate positive a brand image.

“Omo Ogun ise ya” is a call up to action for Ogun indigenes to stimulate their interest and drive home the message of development in all facets. This is indeed a thematic song that resonates among Ogun State citizens. It is a brand slogan that commands huge attention in the state.

For Ogun state, the single minded proposition for the state is “Mission to rebuild”. This predicated on the strategic goal that the state needs to engage in proper repositioning and reengineering efforts to retain its glory.

Mission to rebuild has been a potent brand slogan for the Amosun led government to transform the state to occupy its premium place as the Gateway State. One of the laudable platforms that the Ogun State brand intends to showcase is its enormous endowments through the Homeowners’ Charter Programme.

The programme is aimed at touching base with the Ogun State people especially those within some identified communities to regularize the legal status of their properties. This is a tangible offering of a government that wants to provide exceptional service delivery to its people.

A unique feature of the programme is that it provides enumeration data for the medium term planning of roads, schools, hospitals and other essential services. The strategic initiative behind the charter is one that will not only meet the expectations of the entire citizenry but also surpass it.

One notable attribute of Governor Ibikunle Amosun is that he is poised to further elevate the status of the state. He has embarked on several laudable projects to rebuild the image of the Ogun State brand.

The Homeowners’ Charter programme is a potent platform to provide window of opportunities for the people to regularize property documentation while also gaining significantly from the generous incentives offered by the government.

Like any brand that intends to meet the expectations and yearnings of the target audience, Ogun State as a brand is providing generous benefit from the Homeowners’ Charter programme. The long term strategy of the charter is geared towards urban renewal.

The Homeowners’ Charter programme is packaged in a way to enable the people have key milestones of reference in owning properties in Ogun State. A significant edge of the programme is that it enables the people enhance the status of their properties. This is one compelling platform that will influence the attitudinal and lifestyle disposition of the people.
