The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) said over 420 companies have enjoyed about N236bn in incentivise under the Export Expansion Grant (EEG) scheme of the Federal Government.
The figure, according to the NEPC is a cumulative figure running from 2004 till date.
It would be recalled that the Federal Government packaged the EEG scheme in form of incentives with a view to providing some compensatory bailout to exporters to make up for the strain they undergo as a result of undeveloped export infrastructure in the country.
